Free airplane rides for kids, aviation education projects for
youth and adults, scholarship programs, and offering support and
assistance to members who build and restore aircraft. These are
just a few items from an impressive list of goals of a new
organization based at the Middleton Municipal/Morey Field Airport
(C29) - Middleton EAA Chapter #1389.
Blue Thunder Air Racing congratulates Darryl Greenamyer, his
crew chief Andy Chiavetta, and the rest of their team on winning
the Sport Class Gold Race at the 41st Annual National Championship
Air Races in REno (NV). And what a Reno it was. The Reno Air Racing
Association put on perhaps the greatest air races of all time this
year; their efforts are appreciated.
RCAT Telemetry Watchdogs Top Three Finishers In Formula One
Gold at Reno
RCAT Systems is pleased to announce that its RCATSTM airborne
telemetry systems were used by experimental aircraft that placed in
the top 3 spots of the Formula One Gold class trophy race at the
41st annual Reno National Championship Air Races. RCATS custom
tailored telemetry units were used by Formula One pilots Gary
Hubler (1st place), Scotty Crandlemire (2nd place) and Jason Somes
(3rd place).
