That’s not what Michael Chait wanted to do, and that’s not what he did. Instead, his new film Wolf Hound features seven warbirds, bringing audiences equal parts drama and history. The movie features an alternate line of history in which a Nazi Luftwaffe squad captures and flies allied aircraft.

Mark Sprigg of Magni USA brought their M-24 Orion to the  Deland Sport Aviation Showcase, a fully enclosed, side by side gyro. The Italian made aircraft is powered by a 115hp turbocharged Rotax 914, cruising up to 105 mph on its 21 gallon fuel tank. The Orion represents an unusual offering in the gyro world, being closer in design to traditional aircraft with its two-abreast seating and dual controls. Instructors and new owners find it the perfect classroom for learning the gyro ropes and honing vital senses unique to the type.

NTSB Prelim: Van's Aircraft RV-10

Traveling About 90 Kts And Was About 1,800 Ft (MSL) When The Loss Of Engine Power Occurred

On July 22, 2022, about 1647 central daylight time, a Van’s Aircraft RV-10 airplane, N4400K, sustained substantial damage when it was involved in an accident near Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. The pilot and two passengers sustained no injuries. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 personal flight. The pilot reported that shortly after takeoff from the Dodge County Airport (UNU), Juneau, Wisconsin, the engine sustained a total loss of power.
