Was, Also, Apparently Working on An Autonymous Aircraft
Yesterday's big reveal about the recently filed lawsuit whereby Former CEO Kirk Hawkins was suing anybody and everybody associated with Icon Aircraft is producing some interesting surprises. From the nearly two dozen pages in the initial filing, we have gleaned some interesting tidbits... including the 'reason' that Hawkins stepped down, some of his compensation demands, the fact that he appears to be working on an autonomous vehicle program, and the assertion that he claims to have been promised reinstatement as CEO after a year's 'sabbatical.'
One Of ANN's Favorite Events Has Been Postponed A Year
The 49th Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta is being postponed to October 2-10, 2021. Matt W. Guthrie, President of the Balloon Fiesta Board of Directors, noted that, "The health and safety of our pilots, guests, volunteers, sponsors and staff are our top concerns. And while this is a difficult decision, we must stay dedicated to upholding that commitment."
