Two ICON Flight Centers Are Up An Running, Company Says

ICON Aircraft recently started so-called customer deliveries, and says it has delivered six of its A5 light sport amphibious aircraft to customers in June and July. These are the first customer deliveries the company has made since announcing a production delay last spring. The owners are located in Washington, California, Montana, and Texas, and have been using their aircraft regularly, flying to destinations that include the San Juan Islands, Flathead Lake, and Lake Powell.

Zenith Aircraft Company is introducing a new aircraft design at AirVenture. The STOL CH 750 Super Duty is the latest model in the Zenith high-wing line developed by aeronautical engineer Chris Heintz. The STOL CH 750 "Super Duty" (SD) is an expansion on the popular two-seat STOL CH 750 light-sport aircraft, but offers increased load (and corresponding increased gross weight), the addition of a "jump seat" in the large rear cabin area, and new engine choices for maximum short take-off and landing (STOL) performance.
