The first V-22 Osprey combat squadron left for Iraq this week
onboard a Navy amphibious assault ship, marking a pronounced shift
in military aviation technology.
In a surprisingly visible display for the oppresive Islamic
republic, on Thursday Iran publicly tested two of its
domestically-manufactured fighter jets. The ceremony at Mehrabad
Airport was attended by political and military leaders, reports
UPI.
The US Air Force has been rebuffed in its effort to become the
central agency for medium and high-altitude unmanned aircraft used
