Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Chantilly, Virginia, Amentum is an American government and commercial services contractor. Amentum announced it had been awarded a $223-million contract by the U.S. Air Force’s 316th Wing, the provisions of which call for Amentum to facilitate the timely worldwide air-transportation of U.S. VIPs—primarily federal lawmakers, presidential cabinet members, and senior military and civilian leaders.
