Issue With Right Engine Blamed For Aborted Takeoff
A demonstration of Russia's new T-50 stealth fighter was aborted
due to a technical problem at an airshow Sunday. Two of the planes
on hand for the show had been flying without issues over the
previous four days of the show.

The T129 "P6" prototype helicopter successfully completed its
first flight Monday, according to a news release from Turkish
Aerospace Industries, Inc. (TAI). The first flight was conducted by
TAI's test pilots at TAI's facilities in Akinci (Ankara),
Turkey.
Test Sites For 'Sense And Avoid' To Be Chosen Next Year
The Pentagon and the FAA have announced that the U.S. will
create between four and ten regions in domestic airspace where
testing of unmanned aircraft systems will be conducted to evaluate
new "sense and avoid" technology. The areas will enable testing in
heavily-traveled commercial airspace, and site selection will
reportedly begin next year.
Air Force Lifts Two-Week Grounding Following Power Issue
The U.S. Air Force has cleared the F35 JSF to return to flight
testing following a two-week standdown. The program had been
suspended following a problem that cropped up in a power system in
one of the test airplanes stationed at Edwards Air Force Base.
