Boeing’s T-7 Makes First Official USAF Flight

Marks The Onset Of The T-7’S Engineering And Manufacturing Development Phase

A U.S. Air Force pilot departed Boeing’s St. Louis, Missouri facilities at the controls of a T-7A Red Hawk, thereby occasioning the commencement of USAF flight-testing of the service’s new, supersonic, advanced jet trainer. The event, announced by Boeing, marks the onset of the T-7’s engineering and manufacturing development phase. Bell H-1 Fleet Surpasses 500,000 Flight Hours

AH-1Z and UH-1Y Helicopters Prove Robust & Reliable

Textron Aviation confirmed that the U.S. Marine Corps’s extant H-1 fleets of AH-1Z Viper combat helicopters and UH-1Y Venom utility helicopters have cumulatively surpassed 500,000-flight hours. The milestone achievement represents the combined total flight times of nearly four-hundred AH-1Z and UH-1Y helicopters built by Textron subsidiary Bell and operated by the U.S. Marine Corps and the militaries of numerous NATO nations.
