Recovery operations for a missing Marine Corps pilot and F/A-18C
Hornet aircraft operating from the USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75)
were suspended Monday. The pilot, Capt. Franklin R. Hooks II, 32,
of Pasco (FL), was killed in the accident.
