Rostec Releases Training Parachute

Cadet-75 Meant to Protect Novice Jumpers

Rostec State Corporation’s new novice parachute, the Cadet-75, is a round canopy training system to allow each step of the deployment process to be manually actuated. The lack of automatic deployment is designed to focus students on learning proper techniques. With demarcation between phases of deployment, students can attentively practice separation from the aircraft and freefall skills. The chute is suited for drops from 43 kts to 151 kts, with a total flying weight up to 240 lb. Increased canopy stability allows the parachutist to make a full turn in no more than 12 seconds.
