AVT And USAF Complete Latest Phase Of X-MADIS Field Testing

System Being Evaluated For Counter-Drone Capability

Ascent Vision Technologies (AVT) recently completed the next phase of field testing with its counter UAS system, the eXpeditionary Mobile Air Defense Integrated System (X-MADIS), for the U.S. Air Force. The latest event was conducted at an undisclosed location and focused on optimizing the system for the Air Force’s selected platforms. The testing continues to validate the performance characteristics of the X-MADIS for the Air Force’s programs, and provides critical information for documenting operational procedures.

NATO Alliance Ground Surveillance Aircraft Completes Successful Ferry Flight

Flew 22 Hours Non-Stop Across The Atlantic

Northrop Grumman Corporation has successfully ferried the first of five NATO Alliance Ground Surveillance (AGS) aircraft, via a non-stop, 22-hour transatlantic flight. The aircraft took off on Wednesday, Nov. 20, from Palmdale, California and landed approximately 22 hours later on Nov. 21 at Sigonella Air Base, Sigonella, Italy.
