Seneca College In Toronto Orders Four Cessna Skyhawks For Training

Aircraft Modified With CRM Training Seat Scheduled For Delivery Next Year

Cessna announced at the EAA's AirVenture 2011 that it has signed a contract with Seneca College in Toronto for four 172 Skyhawk aircraft modified with Cessna's Crew/Cockpit Resource Management (CRM) training seat. The four Skyhawks will join the Seneca School of Aviation and Flight Technology fleet of 14 aircraft that includes eight earlier model 172s.

A new Piper Aircraft twin-engine Seminole will join Redbird Flight Simulations' innovative and multi-faceted aviation research and development laboratory beginning in the first quarter of 2012. Delivery of the training aircraft is set to occur next spring. Cutter Piper Sales sold the airplane to Redbird Skyport of San Marcos, Texas, where the airplane will be based at Oshkosh during AirVenture 2011.
