CEO of King Flight Schools Barry Knuttila was with them to announce their method of success and their new advancements. They accredit the business’s success to their system of receiving feedback and then adapting to customer input. Additionally, King Schools works to constantly adapt to technological advancements so that their interface matches the customer’s desires. John described how to business progressed from chalkboards to overhead projectors, then video to DVD. Now, the company is working through an online program.

Superior Air Parts Offers Superior Engine Components

And, Now Offers A 'Superior' Warranty

Superior Air Parts VP of Sales and Marketing, Scott Hayes announced an industry leading parts warranty program on all Millennium Cylinders changing from 24 months to 37 months or TBO, whichever occurs first. The company is also extending warranty on all other parts to 24 months or TBO as well. Scott stated the new warranty is 13 months longer than the any other competitor, “That alone should let aircraft owners know how confident we are that our cylinders will go the distance." Hayes said the new 37/24 warranty applies to Millennium Cylinders and Superior FAA PMA piece parts sold after January 1, 2018.

NavMonster has released version 2 of its iOS app, Android app, and web portal preflight weather planning tools. Piper Makes Airplanes...

...And Sells A Bunch of Them, Too.

Simon Caldecott, Piper CEO, gave the annual state of the company address at OSH2018, quoting unusually strong sales versus the last few years. Piper Aircraft, Inc. announced that sales of Piper trainers in the second quarter of the year increased 126% when compared to the same period in 2017.  Both their single and multi-engine trainers have solid order book backlog into Q3 of 2019. The twin engine Piper Seminole lead the increase with 150% growth in deliveries, followed by both the Arrow and Archer, which showed a combined growth of 85%.
