Air BP’s Second Sterling Pilot Scholarship Awardee Announced

Tuition Assistance Goes To 17-Year-Old Zoë Burnett

Air BP has awarded its second Sterling Pilot Scholarship to 17 year old, Aberdeen student, Zoë Burnett. This award which is valued at £10,000 (approx. $13,000) will enable Zoë to complete her Private Pilot’s Licence (PPL) and take the first step towards realising her ultimate ambition of becoming a commercial airline pilot. Keen to get started, Zoë commenced her PPL training at Tayside Aviation at Dundee Airport in Scotland on June 14th.

AEA To Award Five Aircraft Owners $1,000 Toward An ADS-B Upgrade

Daily Winners To Be Announced During AirVenture Via AEA Social Media Outlets

To help incentivize owners of general aviation aircraft to meet the Federal Aviation Administration's ADS-B Out mandate in the U.S., the Aircraft Electronics Association will randomly award five aircraft owners with $1,000 toward an ADS-B compliant upgrade during the Experimental Aircraft Association's AirVenture Oshkosh.
