Upwind Scholarship Program To Award Flight Training To A High School Student

Application Deadline Is February 22

The Upwind Foundation (Upwind), now in its seventh year of operation, has released the 2019 scholarship applications and program dates. Upwind provides a scholarship that includes flight and ground training for a high school student to prepare them to obtain their Private Pilot certificate during the summer between their junior and senior year. Upwind was created to provide scholarships for aspiring young pilots to obtain their pilot’s certificate as a way to promote general aviation and to cultivate their interest in aviation as a career.
