ExpressJet Airlines Gains New Jets With Sale To ManaAir

Will Acquire 25 New Embraer E175-SC Airplanes

The ExpressJet Airlines pilots, represented by the Air Line Pilots Association, Int’l (ALPA), have been notified that United Airlines announced the award of 25 new Embraer E175-SC aircraft to ExpressJet as part of a deal that also includes the sale of ExpressJet from SkyWest Inc. to ManaAir LLC, in which United Airlines will own a minority interest. The sale is expected to be complete in early 2019.

Embraer Delivers Its 1,500th E-Jet To Horizon Air

Carrier Has Four More Scheduled For Delivery In 2019

Embraer recently celebrated the delivery of its 1,500th E-Jet, an E175, to Seattle-based Horizon Air, a wholly owned subsidiary of Alaska Air Group, Inc. Horizon Air’s E175 is configured with 12 seats in first class, 12 in premium class and 52 in the main cabin. By the end of the year, Horizon will have a fleet of 26 E175 with four more jets scheduled for delivery in 2019.

Republic Airways And Embraer Sign Firm Order For 100 E-Jet Aircraft

Deliveries To Begin In Second Half Of 2020

Republic Airways Holdings Inc., the world’s largest operator of E-Jet aircraft, announced today that it has finalized a firm order for 100 E175 aircraft with Embraer, which originally was announced at the Farnborough International Airshow in Farnborough, England, earlier this year. With this firm order, Republic is in position to begin accepting deliveries during the second half of 2020.
