Aviation Educator Hall of Fame Now Tax Exempt

IRS Grants 501(c)(3) Status Effective May 7, 2012

The Aviation Educator Hall of Fame (AEHOF) tells ANN that they were recently granted 501(c)(3) tax exempt status by the Internal Revenue Service. Begun in 2010 as an initiative of the Society of Aviation and Flight Educators (SAFE), a coalition of more than 20 aviation organizations and individuals formally established the independent Hall of Fame in May 2012. The organization is led by President Jack Pelton, Vice President Steve Riethof, and Secretary Judy Phelps. Peggy Chabrian, Rod Machado, Rusty Sachs, and Thomas Turner make up the selection committee.
