Over the course of a year and half, two licensed aircraft were involved in accidents that resulted in no fatalities and minimal property damage. Bizarre Case Transpiring in Vermont Court

A New Hampshire pilot has been accused of stalking an upstate New York woman by means of a 1976-vintage Cessna 180 Skywagon purportedly registered to him and based at southwestern Vermont’s William H. Morse State Airport (DDH). Details pertaining to how, precisely, Arnold aerially stalked the woman have yet to be made public. Michael Arnold, 65, a resident of Manchester, New Hampshire, made an initial appearance in a Bennington, Vermont court on Wednesday, 04 October 2023. Arnold faces charges of aggravated stalking, violating an abuse prevention order, resisting arrest, impeding a public officer, and providing false information to police.

NTSB Prelim: Champion 7KCAB

Airplane Began To Drift Right Then Suddenly Rolled Sharply To The Right

On September 19, 2023, about 0830 mountain standard time, a Champion 7KCAB, N998B, was substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident near Benson, Arizona. The flight instructor and the pilot receiving instruction were not injured. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 instructional flight. The flight instructor reported that he and the pilot were planning to fly about an hour in the traffic pattern at the Benson Municipal Airport (E95), Benson, Arizona. Shortly after departing the runway at about 50ft above ground level, the airplane began to drift right then suddenly rolled sharply to the right.
