Final Phase Of The Airport's Runway And Taxiway Improvement Program
The final segment of an overall runway and taxiway improvement program at Northeast Florida Regional Airport (KSGJ) in St. Augustine, FL, has been completed. The last section of taxiway along the entire length of the primary 8,000 foot runway is now open for use.

While one fatal accident is one too many, Alaska showed a marked improvement in the number of fatalities in aviation accidents in 2012 when compared to 2011. Last year, there were 11 fatalities resulting from aviation accidents in the state while in 2011, there were 23.
