Operation Lights On is a voluntary
program encouraging pilots to turn on their landing lights during
takeoff; when operating below 10,000 feet (day or night),
especially when within 10 nautical miles of an airport; and in
conditions of reduced visibility.
Electronic Flight Instrument System -- An electronic system
which acts as a primary monitor of selections and automatic
functions in flight, and of systems control.
