Due to the ongoing pandemic AERO South Africa Delayed to July 2022. Messe Frankfurt South Africa has taken the decision to postpone the AERO South Africa exhibition and conference to July 2022. Flight Plan Area (FPA) The geographical area assigned to a flight service station (FSS) for the purpose of establishing primary  responsibility for services that may include search and rescue for VFR aircraft, issuance of NOTAMs, pilot  briefings, inflight services, broadcast services, emergency services, flight data processing, international  operations, and aviation weather services. Aero-News: Quote of the Day (03.23.21)

"At approximately 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 20, EAA's B-17G, Aluminum Overcast, suffered some minor damage to a wing from an apparent bird strike during a landing approach to Gwinnett County Airport/Briscoe Field near Lawrenceville, Georgia, during the B-17 tour stop. The damage was discovered after the B-17 flight experience had landed, and the apparent bird strike did not cause any disturbance or complications during the flight." Source: From an EAA report describing the effects of a bird strike this past weekend... thankfuly, the damage does not appear extreme.
