In a letter written to BADA Chairman John Turner and Chris Ford, the Master of the Honourable Company of Air Pilots, Andrew Haines Chief Executive of the U.K. CAA, offered an apology for remarks that appeared in the media concerning the U.K. CAA's proposal to sharply increase fees charged to Air Shows.
