EAA Counsel Alan Farkas has filed a 48 page Petition for Review of FAA Action and Other Relief with United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit in support of EAA's attempt to overturn last spring's surprise FAA decision to bill the organization for the annual AirVenture Fly-In. Light Gun A handheld directional light signaling device which emits a brilliant narrow beam of white, green, or red light as selected by the tower controller. The color and type of light transmitted can be used to approve or disapprove anticipated pilot actions where radio communication is not available. The light gun is used for controlling traffic operating in the vicinity of the airport and on the airport movement area.

Aero Linx: Lieutenant George Robert Craig M.C. 44 Squadron In 1998 I commenced research into my Uncle's death, which occurred in August 1917. He was killed while flying in the Royal Flying Corps. He was a decorated soldier but met his demise practising aerobatic fighting maneuvers in a Sopwith Camel, while serving with No. 44 Squadron, a home defense squadron based at Hainault farm aerodrome in Essex.
