30th Anniversary Observance Honors Lost Servicemen

On 29 October 2022 at 10:00 MDT, a number of U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army nonprofit organizations will host an observance of the 30th anniversary of the Antelope Island tragedy, in which 12 lives were lost when a USAF Pave Hawk helicopter went down in inclement weather. The hosting group includes the Combat Control Foundation, Air Commando Association, Combat Control Association, 75th Ranger Regiment Association, Three Rangers Association, and US Army Ranger Association.

The examination also found that the circular wire lock ring, which was designed to prevent the clamp nut from unscrewing, was not present.
