The two unions which represent the bulk of the FAA work force
have spent the last few years at war with the Bush administration.
Suddenly, two candidates for the job of FAA Administrator under
President Obama appear to be putting improved labor relations at
the focus of their campaigns for the job.
An Ohio man who aimed a high-powered, green laser at least four
aircraft on June 4 last year has pleaded guilty to several
felonies, and will spend three years behind bars.
In the summer of 1940, 2,936 pilots took part in an historic
battle against the German Luftwaffe that was to become the only
battle to be fought entirely in the air, this battle has become
known as; The "Battle of Britain" and the pilots as "The Few."

Hamiel and Jack Lanners for approving an agreement that we believe
is good for the State of Minnesota, the traveling public and our
employees who live here. This agreement solidifies our commitment
to Minnesota and continues to build upon a long-standing

The Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) voted in favor Monday of
an agreement with Delta, committing the airline to maintain 10,000
Minnesota jobs and 400 daily departures from its Minneapolis-St.
Paul hub.
