The Phoenix Police Department reveals plans to upgrade its helicopter fleet with five new H125 helicopters. Next year, deliveries are expected to begin. “We spent a lot of time analyzing which platform would best fit all of our operational needs as we began to renew our fleet, and the H125 met all of our requirements,” said Paul Apolinar, chief pilot at Phoenix Police Department. “Our responsibility is to protect and serve the Phoenix community, and these aircraft will allow us not only to protect from the skies, but to perform rescues in remote locations all over Arizona. World's First Wingless, Hydrogen-Fueled Compact eVTOL 

Israel-based aerospace company Urban Aeronautics has revealed the first $10 million towards their next round of funding. After the latest test flights in July ran smoothly, the company has demonstrated the capabilities of their eVTOL called the CityHawk. According to the company, investors in the US, Brazil and Israel participated in the round. The CityHawk is a car-sized eVTOL designed for multiple trips within a city per day with zero emissions and minimal noise. The CityHawk is intended for commercial air charters and emergency medical services and will be fueled by hydrogen.

Airplane Overran The End Of The Runway, And The Pilot Steered The Airplane Into The Grass

On September 3, 2021, about 1244 eastern daylight time, a Raytheon Aircraft Company 390, N351CW, was substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident in Naples, Florida. The pilot and three passengers were not injured. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 135 on-demand flight. According to the pilot, the flight from Indianapolis International Airport (IND), Indianapolis, Indiana to Naples Municipal Airport (APF), Naples, Florida was uneventful. During landing, he applied normal braking and the airplane started to slow down. Suddenly the brakes “faded away,” and he was unable to stop the airplane.
