Expanded Space Could Eventually Contain A Helicopter Final Assembly Line

AgustaWestland's Brazilian subsidiary AgustaWestland Do Brasil is to undergo a major expansion with the building of a new facility in Sao Paulo which will include maintenance hangars with space that could accommodate a helicopter final assembly line, training center, bonded warehouse, workshops and other supporting services including a dedicated heliport.

Planemaker Seeing Strong Demand In Brazil In Particular

Latin America is a strong region for Cessna, according to the company's senior vice president for sales. Speaking at LBACE this week, Kriya Shortt said that the company has "several exciting new products out this year, including the revolutionary new Citation Sovereign, high-performance Cessna TTx and powerful Grand Caravan EX, all of which we expect to be extremely popular with our Latin American customers."
