EFD 1000H Installation Approved For Multiple Enstrom Models
Aspen STC, Inc. and Aspen Avionics have announced that several Enstrom helicopters are now approved for retrofit with Aspen Avionics’ Evolution EFD 1000H Pro primary flight display, and EFD 500H/1000H multi-function display through a Supplemental Type Certificate issued to Aspen, STC, Inc. Aspen Avionics and Aspen STC, Inc. are independent and unaffiliated organizations.
Dutch Company General Enterprises Joins International Service Network
Eclipse Aerospace (EAI) has expanded its international service center network for Eclipse 500 and Eclipse 550 twin-engine jets, adding General Enterprises as its second European Gold Service Center. General Enterprises will provide maintenance, inspections, parts and warranty support, as well as AOG services for Eclipse aircraft.
Agency Greenlights Full Motion Simulator For Operation In Shreveport, LA
Since installing the EC135 Level D Full Motion Simulator at the Helicopter Flight Training Center this spring, pilots and technicians were busy testing the system and preparing it for certification. Although the simulator was certified at its previous location, FlightSafety International’s DFW facility, it had to receive FAA certification once again at its new base in Shreveport, Louisiana.
