Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. today announced the delivery of the first S-76D aircraft equipped for search-and-rescue (SAR) services. The aircraft was delivered to Mitsubishi Corporation for use by the Japan Coast Guard. The announcement was made at the 2014 Farnborough Air Show in Farnborough, United Kingdom.

Textron subsidiaries Bell Helicopter and TRU Simulation + Training (TRU) have announced an agreement for TRU to complete the design, development, manufacturing, installation, testing and certification of the Bell 525 Level D Full Flight Simulator (FFS).
Customer demand for the new Hartzell Propeller advanced swept airfoil five-blade prop for retrofit on TBM 700/850 aircraft has been robust. It is the same propeller that comes as standard equipment on new Daher-Socata TBM 900 aircraft, which has also been in high demand.
