Embraer's Ipanema Ag-Plane Scores 19 New Orders

The Most Current Version Of The Ipanema 203 Runs On Ethanol

Embraer has sold 19 EMB-203 Ipanema single-seat aircraft in February, totaling 27 aircraft sold this year. This sales volume in the first two months of 2021 is already 8% higher than what was negotiated throughout all of 2020. The second consecutive month of high sales reflects the favorable performance of the Brazilian agribusiness and the technological innovations incorporated in the new version of the Ipanema aircraft. Agricultural crop dusting services has been leading the market demand this year.

The PC-24 development project has now entered its final phase, the most challenging tests have all been successfully completed. The three PC-24 prototypes have made a total of 1,250 flights for 2,000 hours in the air so far. FAA Proposes $115,500 Civil Penalty Against Fenix Air Charter of South Carolina

'Conducted Approximately 18 Charter Flights In A Twin-Engine Cessna 402B That Was Not Airworthy'

The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) proposes a $115,500 civil penalty against Fenix Air Charter, of Spartanburg, S.C., for allegedly conducting charter flights in an aircraft that did not comply with airworthiness regulations. The FAA alleges that between July 9 and July 13, 2020, Fenix Air Charter conducted approximately 18 charter flights in a twin-engine Cessna 402B that was not airworthy. The aircraft was not airworthy because the company failed to rebalance the flight controls after painting the aircraft, as the aircraft maintenance manual requires.
