UAV Flew For Approximately An Hour And A Half

Navmar Applied Sciences Corporation (NASC) has successfully completed a test flight of the NASC TEROS UAV, Technology Demonstrator at the NASC Unmanned Aerial Systems Flight Operations and Training Center at the Griffiss International Airport in Rome, New York. During the flight, the UAV flew for approximately an hour and a half in both manual and autonomous flight profiles, which successfully tested the aircraft systems/avionics suite. “Today’s successful flight is a huge step toward reaching our ultimate goal of TEROS approval for integration into the National Airspace,” says Richard Leverich, senior program engineer, Navmar Applied Sciences Corporation.

Maloney, Nadler, Velázquez: FAA Must Implement All NTSB Safety Rec's for Doors-Off Helicopters

New York Democratic Congressmembers Carolyn B. Maloney), Jerrold Nadler, and Nydia Velázquez are hitting the media trail in their attempt to force FAA Administrator Stephen Dickson to adopt all of the NTSB recommendations for doors-off helicopter sightseeing tours that were borne from the Board’s investigation of the March 11, 2018 crash of an Airbus AS350 helicopter in the East River that caused the deaths of all five passengers. The members introduced the Improving Helicopter Safety Act of 2019 on October 28, 2019 to address 'recent deadly helicopter incidents in New York City.'

London Biggin Hill Service Center Scheduled To Be Operational By Mid-2022 

Bombardier is expanding its London Biggin Hill service center with the construction of a new and larger facility nearing 250,000 square feet (approximately 23,225 square meters) to replace its existing hangars. Scheduled to be operational by mid-2022, the new service center will provide customers in the region with extended maintenance support and reinforce Bombardier’s customer service experience in Europe.
