Group Aims to Develop Regional Freighter for Remote Piloting in EU

ASL Aviation Holdings and Reliable Robotics have announced a collaboration to explore the use of automated aircraft. The program will focus on selecting a suitable aircraft for Reliable’s Remotely Operated Aircraft System, with particular focus on twin-turboprop freighters. The pair will "jointly assess demand for remotely operated aircraft in Europe, hopefully stealing a march on a bevy of cargo operators abroad without the same level of polish on remote pilotage that Reliable Robotics has.
