Avfuel Expands Sustainable Fuel in Colorado

Atlantic Aviation Set for Distribution at KASE, KMTJ, KHDN, and KRIL

Avfuel and Atlantic Aviation have built on their existing sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) agreement to provide inventory at a handful of Colorado facilities. The duo has been stocking Neste's MY SAF fuel product at Atlantic’s Aspen facility (KASE) since the spring of 2021, and the recent addition will expand that supply to Atlantic’s Montrose (KMTJ), Hayden/Steamboat (KHDN) and Aspen/Rifle (KRIL) FBOs. Neste - not to be confused with the cookie manufacturer Nestlé - says its MY SAF boasts one of the highest average blend ratios available in business aviation, about 30:70 SAF to petroleum jet fuel.
