Chicago Jet Group Receives FAA Supplemental Type Certificate

More Upgrades To Come In Early 2022

The Chicago Jet Group received FAA Supplemental Type Certificate for Universal Avionics’ InSight Flight Deck Upgrade on the Dassault Falcon 900B. The solutions are designed to allow operators to choose from a Phase One or Phase Two Package. According to the company, Phase One replaces the NZ-2000 FMS by adding dual UA UNS-1Fw SBAS-FMSs including LP and LPV approach capabilities, a CVR-120A Cockpit Voice Recorder, and UniLink™ UL-801 Communications Management Unit. This solution offers capabilities for FANS 1/A+ CPDLC, European ATN B1, and Push-to-Load. This FOI design utilizes the Latitude Technologies DL150 Iridium transceiver.
