Leading Brazilian Carrier To Open New Routes With New, Longer-Range 737 Jet
Boeing and GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes recently celebrated the unveiling of the carrier's newly outfitted 737 MAX 8 during a celebration in Sao Paulo. The leading Brazilian carrier also announced plans to fly the more fuel-efficient and longer-range 737 airplane on international routes.
More Than 400 Cadets To Be Trained At CAE Kuala Lumpur, CAE Melbourne And CAE Phoenix Over The Next Five Years
CAE has signed a new agreement with AirAsia to train more than 400 cadets in a competency-based Multi-Crew Pilot License (MPL) program to support the airline’s growth. The announcement was made at the 2018 Asia Pacific Airline Training Symposium (APATS).
The first A380 for All Nippon Airways (ANA) has rolled out of the final assembly line (FAL) in Toulouse. The aircraft has now been moved to an outside station where various ground tests will be undertaken in preparation for first flight in the coming weeks. The aircraft will then be transferred to the Airbus facilities in Hamburg for cabin installation and painting.
Aircraft Returned to Service With Canadian Charter And Cargo Carrier
The Mid-Canada Mod Center has completed the extensive cockpit update and redesign to a “classic” of the industry – the Boeing 737-200. The project was completed earlier this summer and the aircraft returned to service with a specialized Canadian based charter and cargo operator. It has been proving its value since that date and the next in a series of updates is scheduled to be modified in late summer.
