To Be Auctioned To Support EAA Young Eagles

Young people dreaming of flight will benefit from the work of Ford Motor Company’s engineering and design teams, who have produced a unique U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds Edition 2014 Ford Mustang GT. This car will be donated by Ford to be sold at the Gathering of Eagles charity event on Thursday, Aug. 1 during the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) AirVenture Oshkosh 2013 – the World’s Greatest Aviation Celebration.

NTSB Recommends Modified ATC Go-Around Procedures To FAA

Goal Is To Reduce The Possibility Of Mid-Air Collisions Near Airports

Following the investigation of five incidents in which commercial jetliners came within hazardous proximity of other aircraft while arriving or departing at major U.S. airports, the NTSB has recommended that the FAA modify the rules for air traffic controllers to ensure the safe separation of airplanes during go-around maneuvers.
