Qatar Aeronautical Academy has selected Skyborne Airline Academy—the U.S.-based aviation training concern with operations in Vero Beach, Florida and Gloucestershire, U.K.—to serve as a satellite training center for students eligible for employment with Middle Eastern air-carriers.
Slated to open in 2025, a new luxury terminal at Miami International Airport (MIA) will afford affluent travelers perks and privileges vastly beyond the pale of 21st Century airport convention. The new facility—which occupies Pan Am's former regional headquarters building—will be operated by PS, a travel concern formerly known as Private Suite which operates a similar facility at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
Middle Eastern Carrier to Acquire Multiple E190-E2 and E195-E2 Jets
Embraer and commercial aviation lessor Azorra announced a new eight-aircraft deal with Jordanian flag-carrier Royal Jordanian Airlines. The agreement will see the air-carrier’s fleet supplemented with multiple specimens of Embraer’s E190-E2 and E195-E2 narrow-body aircraft. Deliveries of the jets are expected to commence in 2023’s fourth quarter.
