Jeppesen To Provide AirAsia Group With Digital Navigation And EFB

Multiple Airlines To Use Windows Tablet-Based Jeppesen FliteDeck Pro To Access Essential Flight Information

Jeppesen recently signed a multiple-year agreement with AirAsia, one of Asia’s largest low-cost carriers, to provide digital charting and electronic flight bag (EFB) services for all AirAsia Group affiliates. The agreement covers a total of six airlines within the AirAsia Group, which are based in Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, India, Indonesia and the Philippines.

FAA Begins EIS For New Runway At Nation's Fifth Busiest Airport

Operations Forecast To Increase To 740,000 By 2033

The FAA has begun an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for a new parallel runway and associated projects at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT). Based on the FAA’s most recent Terminal Area Forecast, the number of flights at CLT is expected to grow at an average rate of 1.9 percent annually, increasing from  more than 545,000 operations in 2016 to a projected 740,000 operations in 2033.
