Task Forces Formed To Address Several Safety Issues
United Parcel Service and the Independent Pilots Association,
the collective bargaining unit for its 2,800 pilots, signed a
memorandum of understanding Thursday that establishes joint UPS/IPA
Safety and Security Task Forces. Both will be made up of six
members, three named by each party.

In a report published by Flight Global earlier this year, Boeing
and Airbus estimate Africa will require 620-929 new aircraft over
the next 20 years, more than doubling the current continental fleet
