Rising Customer Demand For Company's Nacelle Systems Helps Bring 260 New Jobs To Foley Site

Alabama Governor Kay Ivey recently toured the recently-expanded facility of UTC Aerospace Systems' Aerostructures business where nacelle systems will be assembled and integrated with the Pratt & Whitney Geared Turbofan engine for the Airbus A320neo. The Aerostructures business celebrated completion of construction of the 80,000-square foot expansion to its existing facility with a ribbon-cutting in late August.

Known Crewmember Program Reaches New Milestones

Has Cleared 75 Million Crewmembers, Boasts 75 Participating Airports

Airlines for America (A4A) and its Known Crewmember (KCM) program partner, the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA), have announced the KCM program has reached a major milestone with the clearing of 75 million crewmembers since its inception in 2011. The KCM program decreases airport congestion by providing alternative screening opportunities for airline crewmembers, reducing the impact on the general screening lanes used every day by the traveling public.
