IATA to Launch Aviation Leadership Development Program

Will Work In Partnership With Harvard Business Publishing

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) announced the launch of the Aviation Leadership Development Program in partnership with Harvard Business Publishing (HBP). This is the first IATA educational program to be taught in real time by instructors in a virtual environment. The inaugural session will begin 2 November 2015.

Boeing and EL AL Israel Airlines agreed on an order today for up to nine 787 Dreamliners, valued at more than $2.2 billion at current list prices. The turboprop aircraft manufacturer ATR has obtained EASA certification for its passenger-cargo “combi” version of the ATR 72-600. The new cabin configuration of the aircraft allows combining increased cargo volume for over 670 cubic feet in volume and nearly 6,600 pounds in weight with up to 44 passenger seats section.
