The Export-Import Bank of the United States (Ex-Im Bank) has authorized a $117.5 million loan guarantee supporting exports of Boeing 737-800 aircraft to flydubai, a low-cost airline owned by the government of Dubai.
Japan's New Carrier LINK Will Operate A Fleet Of 3 ATR 72-600s
The first ATR 72-600 turboprops to fly in Japan will do so in the livery of that country's new regional carrier LINK. The airline will start operations in 2013 with the introduction into its fleet of three leased ATRs. The aircraft will be delivered starting in late 2013. The order was announced at the Japan Aerospace Airshow, held in Nagoya (Japan).

FreeFlight Systems announced Thursday that it will integrate its XPLORER ADS-B weather receiver with GRT Avionics Horizon HXr, Horizon HX and Sport SX panel-mounted Electronic Flight Information Systems (EFIS) for experimental and Light Sport aircraft.
EADS and BAE Systems have mutually agreed to end discussions of a possible merger of the two companies. Talks of a possible combination of the two businesses through a dual listed company structure began on September 12.
