First P&W Geared Turbofan Production Engines Delivered For E190-E2 Program

Will Power Aircraft Operated By Widerøe Airlines

Pratt & Whitney has delivered the first two Geared Turbofan ("GTF") PW1900G production engines for the E190-E2 aircraft.  The engines were shipped to Embraer's E2 final assembly line in São José dos Campos, São Paulo, Brazil, in late December, with plans to install the engines in February. The aircraft will enter into service with Widerøe Airlines in April.

Alaska Airlines, Virgin America And Horizon Air Employees Receive Bonuses

Amounts To An Average Of More Than Seven Percent Of Their Annual 2017 Pay

Employees of Alaska Air Group companies Alaska Airlines, Virgin America and Horizon Air have received $118 million in incentive bonuses. For most employees, this equates to an average of more than 7 percent of their annual pay in 2017. In addition, 23,000 Air Group employees will receive a one-time $1,000 bonus on Jan. 29 from additional tax savings the company expects to receive this year.
