It’s been about four weeks since the B-29 named ‘Doc’ flew for the first time after a 16 year restoration project, and the Doc restoration crew is working to plan the historic warbird’s second flight. Jim Murphy, Doc’s Friends restoration project manager, said on the project blog, “Over the past few weeks, we’ve been combing through all of the airplane’s systems and control surfaces checking to see how things behaved during the first flight. First Virtual Reality Camera Satellite To Be Deployed In Space

Will Be Placed In Orbit From ISS Under Agreement Between SpaceVR, NanoRacks

SpaceVR, a platform for creating cinematic, live, virtual space tourism, announced today that it has signed a launch agreement with NanoRacks LLC to send Overview 1, the world’s first virtual reality camera satellite, into space. Overview 1 will be delivered to the International Space Station aboard the SpaceX CRS-12 Mission. The satellite will then be deployed into Low Earth Orbit from the NanoRacks CubeSat Deployer (NRCSD).
