Last Call for San Jose Area Teachers to Participate in
Weightless Flights
Northrop Grumman is issuing a last call for teacher applications
for the 2008 Weightless Flights of Discovery program's Sept. 18
micro- and zero-gravity flights in San Jose.Middle-school math and
science teachers, and those studying to become teachers, have a
limited time to apply for the program.
NASA has concluded that corrective action is appropriate in the
Government Accountability Office bid protest of Exploration Systems
& Technology, Inc.NASA determined that a compliance issue
requires the termination of the contract for the Constellation
Space Suit System with Oceaneering International, Inc. of Houston
for the convenience of the government.
NASA's Dryden Flight Research Center has awarded a five-year
contract to Northrop Grumman for engineering and technical services
to support NASA's use of Global Hawk unmanned aircraft for Earth
science research.
