Before we start with our regular rundown of the Aero-News for today, ANN CEO and Editor-In-Chief, Jim Campbell, will share his thoughts about the loss of Colleen Hoover, the beloved wife of our friend Bob Hoover. The FAA's announcement of a formal Notice of Proposed Rulemaking for revising the outdated FAR Part 23 rules that govern small aircraft design and alterations has met with support from the Experimental Aircraft Association. The FAA’s actions were mandated nearly three years ago by the Small Airplane Revitalization Act of 2013. The move has been long supported and encouraged by EAA, most recently during the EAA/FAA
