The end of the Constellation program could mean the loss of
thousands of jobs in the Houston area, but some with a history with
the space program in the region say they should be more concerned
about extending the shuttle's life to keep them.
World's First Commercial Spaceship Takes Inaugural "Captive
Carry" Flight
Virgin Galactic announced Monday that its commercial manned
spaceship, VSS Enterprise, has successfully completed its first
"captive carry" test flight, taking off at 0705 PST from Mojave Air
and Spaceport in California.
