Higher Class Aviation Brings A Touch Of Italy To SoCal

San Diego Skies To Host The Tecnam Sierra

Molto bello. Representatives Higher Class Aviation, manufacturer of the "Super Hornet" light sport airplane, told ANN Thursday they will don their international hats this weekend, as they demonstrate the Italian-made Tecnam Sierra to prospective customers.

"This will be the first weekend of flying dedicated to showing local aviation enthusiasts the spectacular Tecnam line of aircraft," said Robert Gaither, President of Higher Class Aviation. "While our flying schedule is fully booked, we hope that those interested in this new class of affordable airplanes will stop by our show site, which will be at the Ramona Airport (KRNM), Pacific Executive Aviation."

Higher Class is the exclusive distributor for Tecnam's line of light sport aircraft in Southern California and Arizona.

The Sierra is now being imported into the US to take advantage of the FAA's light sport category... which, Higher Aviation says, has cut the cost of learning to fly and owning an airplane by up to 70 percent.
