NBAA Names Recipients of 2018 Maintenance Scholarships

Presented At Maintenance Conference In Albuquerque, NM This Week

The NBAA Maintenance Committee has awarded the 2018 Maintenance Technical Reward and Career Scholarships (TRACS) at the association’s annual Maintenance Conference this week in Albuquerque, NM.

With the Maintenance TRACS awards in hand, these award recipients will be able to attend model-specific courses at training centers offering aircraft, engine and avionics instruction. Dedicated to the promotion of technical education and training for maintenance personnel in the business aviation industry, the Maintenance TRACS program is open to current and aspiring A&P mechanics, and to military personnel who are making the transition to a civilian career in business aviation.

The 2018 Maintenance TRACS recipients and their courses are:

  • Spencer Aaltonen – Satcom Direct – Aero IT Certification Course
  • Immanuel Bankole – Bombardier Aerospace – Global XRS Electrical Troubleshooting Course
  • Matthew Brown – Global Jet Services, Inc. – Any two-week initial course from catalog
  • Jacob Carson – USC Aviation Safety and Security Program – Human Factors Course
  • Christopher Charlier – Bombardier Aerospace – Challenger 605/650 Avionics Course
  • Karl Doering – GE Aviation –  H80 Turboprop Engine Line Maintenance Course
  • Rodney Fleming – FlightSafety International – Falcon Maintenance Initial Training Program
  • Jacob Forster – Abaris Training Resources, Inc. – Combo M1-R1 Advanced Composite Structures: Fabrication and Damage Repair Course (Phases 1 and 2)
  • Alexander Giglio – FlightSafety International – G650 Maintenance Initial Training Program
  • Christopher Girouard – Rockwell Collins –  Pro Line Fusion Embraer L500 Avionic Course
  • Ariel Gleason – Williams International – FJ Series Engine Line Maintenance Course
