Vizion Certified Autopilot Now Delivering For Cessna 172, 177

Additional Types Should Be Approved Soon, Company Says

TruTrak is now delivering both Cessna 172 and Cessna 177 Vizion autopilot systems.

The company says the price is the same as when the system was announced at AirVenture 2017 - $5000.  This price includes pretty much everything needed to complete installation of the Vizion autopilot in a 172 or 177, autopilot controller, roll servo, pitch servo, mounting brackets, pushrods, AND hardware, even the wiring harness.  Add in the affordably-priced STC from EAA for $100 and pilots can install a two-axis autopilot that will not only make cross-country trips easier, but safer too.

TruTrak has now delivered approximately 75 Certified Vizion autopilot systems since shipping began in early August.

Now that the 177 systems are shipping, TruTrak is working full time to get the PA-28 (including some PA-32 models), C 182, A-E model 172, and R172K installation designs finished up.  The company says they are committed to having those systems shipping before the end of 2017.  "It will be a push to get everything finished up and approved with the holidays coming up, but we are excited and working hard to make it happen," TruTrak CEO Andrew Barker said in a news release.
